Ford Mustang Boss 302 (2012):



The second generation Ford Mustang Boss 302 was released in 2012 as a high-performance variant of the 2011 Mustang GT. The 5.0L V8 features a reworked camshaft, CNC ported cylinder heads, revised camshafts and a high flow intake previous only fitted to the 302R racecar.
The Boss 302 is fitted with the suspension seen on the 2011 Mustang GT but has with higher-rate coil springs, stiffer bushings and a larger diameter rear stabiliser bar. It also has a lower ride height, sport mode traction control and revised stability controls.

The body panels of the Boss 302 are nearly entirely copied from those fitted to the Boss 302R race car.


The Boss 302 is featured in Need for Speed: The Run as a Tier 2 vehicle in its stock configuration, as a Tier 5 ED Edition vehicle and as a Tier 4 Razor Edition vehicle.
Tier 2 - Available from the beginning.
Tier 4 Razor Edition - Earn a gold medal for all Most Wanted Challenges.
Tier 5 ED Edition - Defeat Eddie Cooke in the first event of Stage 10.
The Most Wanted Challenge Series is available with purchase of the Heroes and Villains Pack.
The ED Edition has an engine output of 851bhp at 7,400rpm, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmh in 3.9 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 217mph (349km/h). It has a Very Difficult handling rating.

The Razor Edition has an engine output of 643bhp at 7,400rpm, can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 4.6 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 190mph (306km/h).
