Ford Mustang Boss 302 (1969):

The Ford Mustang Boss 302 was a high-performance variant of the 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback. It competed in the 1969 SCCA Trans-Am series and received a redesign in 1970.

The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is featured as a Tier 1 in Need for Speed: The Run. It also appears in the game as a Tier 4 car - the "NFS Edition" and as another Tier 4 car, known as the "Old Spice Signature Edition".
The Tier 1 and "NFS Edition" variants are unlocked by default. The "Old Spice" variant was part of the Old Spice 'Smell Faster' Pack.

Although being a torquey car, the Boss 302 has a controllable handling, better to that seen from the Chevrolet El Camino SS. The Boss 302 appears to accelerate slightly slower for that, but is also capable of reaching a higher top speed. In races with the police, the Boss 302 can withstand most collisions well.

The 1969 Mustang Boss 302 is a suitable car for race tracks, which allow the full use of its acceleration and top speed, as it may appear to take corners slower than other cars within its tier.
