The BMW 1 Series M Coupe (also known as BMW 1M Coupe) is a high-performance variation of the BMW 1 Series Coupe.
Different to most M cars, it boasts a twin-turbo engine, which is also used by the BMW Z4 sDrive35is. Its name differs from the M nomenclature to avoid confusion with the BMW M1.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe appears as a Tier 2 car in Need for Speed: The Run. It also comes in two trims; "NFS Edition" (Tier 4) and "Art Director Signature Edition" (Tier 5).
The stock variant is unlocked by default. The NFS Edition requires 20 beaten Autolog recommendations to be unlocked although players who played the demo version may obtain the car as a Need for Speed VIP gift. Players will receive the Art Director variant, once they reach driver level 18.
The M Coupe is a decent car in every variation it is featured. The NFS Edition has a "Normal" handling rating, which is also seen on the stock variant. The Art Director is the only car to have a "Challenging" rating. The stock version has the highest top speed within its class and a good acceleration.
